One Day Trip-Meder Beauty USA

IMG_0914

As I had mentioned on IG that Meder Beauty Science was a mysterious brand for me because I couldn’t find any detail information about it online. I was intrigued by the name ‘Beauty Science’. Ela from Meder Beauty Science was kind enough to reached out and sent this for me to try out first hand. Here’s my quick take on this One Day Trip sample kit. Since this is just a sample kit I won’t able to write about any long term results.

Meder Beauty Science is a Swiss spa brand and sold only in spas and dermatology practices. It is more popular in Europe. You can visit http://www.mederusa.com/us-spas.html to find out which U.S spas carry it. I saw Vicki Morav on there too! You can also contact Ela directly at info@mederusa.com for any questions. She’s awesome!

Updated: I just saw that Meder Beauty Science is now selling directly to consumers. You can check out their website here.

A little background taken from Meder Beauty Science website:

Dr Tiina Orasmae-Meder is one of the worlds acknowledged specialists in dermatology having more than twenty years experience in the professional beauty industry. Previously she managed a training division for the Swiss luxurious skincare brand CellCosmet, and has led new product development for many professional brands, Thalgo being one of them. Since 2007, she has also been working with one of the largest independent labs, Iris Brand Vigilance, as an expert in cosmetic safety advising the European Parliament. Being a Doctor of Medicine, Tiina has a passion for developing products that deliver results but without the price of increased risks for the client. In late 2009, Tiina launched her own brand Meder Beauty Science (Switzerland), specializing in professional non-invasive treatments for the correction of various aesthetic imperfections. Using the latest advances in peptides research and biotechnologies, the treatments have gained popularity in 22 countries all over the world and offer an effective solution to clients with contra-indications to injective methods and those averse to them. The retail range products launched in 2013.

Here’s what included in the ODT:
Net-Apax Cream (5ml)
Soin-Apax Serum (5ml)
Hydra-Fill Concentrate (2ml)
Derma-Fill Sub Cream (3ml)
Eye cream blepharo (3ml)

There’s no ingredients list anywhere that I could find so I typed all of this myself. Also, have you noticed the name is all symbol so it’s kind of hard to remember. Ela explained the number after each symbol represent the step of that specific product! Pretty neat eh??!

This is not ‘green beauty’. I ran all of this through Cosdna and the highest flag for safety is 4 so it’s fine with me. You know me as long as the ingredients are safe then I’m all for it!

Ax1-Gel Net-Apax: Aqua, caprylic/capric triglyceride, ethylhexyl palmitate, ethylhexyl stearate, propylene glycol, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, acrylamide/sodium acryloyldi-methyltaurate coppolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, yogurt powder, sorbitan oleate, sodium hydroxide, citric acid, tropolone, malva sylvestris (mallow) leaf extract. (cosdna)

Ax1- thick, cream like texture

It’s an emulsion-gel type cleanser for sensitive skin. It’s not my favorite texture. It feels like it’s adding a film on top of my skin. It’s just a weird feeling to me. But it sure does feel gentle. Other than that no irritations, skin feel soft, and moisturized after. This is advertised specific for thin, traumatized, irritated and sensitive skin. It contains yogurt powder to restores healthy skin microflora, Mallow leaf extract to boosts skin micro-circulation and provides antioxidant and skin conditioning.

Ez2-Enzyme Peel Mask: This is not included in the one day trip mask but I just want to show you the their naming system with the step as number. I will have a separate post reviewing this peel mask. Spoiler alert!! I love it!!

Sa3-Serum Soin-Apax: aqua, glycerin, propylene glycol, centella asiatica extract, ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/vp copolymer, levulinic acid, chlorphenesin, xanthan gum, sodium levlinate, sodium hydroxide.(cosdna)

Sa3-very light, absorb fast!

This is my favorite of the kit. The texture is very light, absorbs well. It also contains one of my favorite extract, centella asiatica! It supposes to even, brighten, and moisturise skin in the long run. I wonder what kind of effects it would have if use long term! It’s said with regular use will boosts collagen synthesis, helping skin becomes more dense and elastic! Sounds good right??!

Hf4-Concentate hydra-fill: aqua, glycerin, capryloyl glycine, pentylene glycol, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, chlorphenesin, xanthan gum, sodium hydroxide, sodium hyaluronate, tamarindus indica seed extract, biosaccharide gum-1, glyceryl caprylate, sodium anisate, sodium levulinate. (cosdna)

IMG_1129
Hf4-very similar in texture to Sa3

This serum is very similar in texture to Sa3. It’s a moisturizing concentrate for dry, dehydrated, and damaged skin. It supposed to moisturizes deep tissues, decreasing skin sensitivity and irritation. With regular use will help reduces fine lines, replenishes moisture, evens out the skin and minimize pores.

Hf5-Masque Hydra-fill: $90/5 mask: Water, hyaluronic acid, propylene glycol, glycerin, sea water extract, olea europaea husk oil, tocopherol, algae extract, tranexamic acid, tocopheryl acetate, sodium alginate sulfate, methylisothiazolinone/iodoprophynyl butylcarbamate, glycosphingolipids/phospholipids/cholesterol, thioctic acid, acetyl tetrapeptide-15, fragrance (cosdna)

This mask is not included in the One day trip package. I’m just putting this in here to show you the step. Details review on my IG.

“Bamboo fabric mask soaked in gentle hydro gel, containing the highest amount of moisturising components. Hyaluronic, tranexamic, thioctic acids, seaweed extract and other ingredients provide immediate moisturizing and nourishing, calm and brighten the skin. After just 20-25 minutes skin will feel significantly softer and fine lines considerably reduced”

Df6-Sub craem derma-fill: aqua, dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, alpha glucan oligosaccharide, phenoxyethanol, cyclohexasiloxane, isohexaecanepolyvinyl alcohol, polysorbate 30, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, sorbitan oleate, algae extract, sodium hydroxide, tropolone, ethylhexylglycerin. (cosdna)

Bn7-thicker texture than the serum, slightly sticky after apply. The stickiness goes away pretty quick after tapping

This has thicker texture than the serum, slightly sticky after apply. The stickiness goes away pretty quick after tapping in. Contains caffeine and niacinamide. Also contains Escin, a powerful veinotonic. This will help drainage and anti-puffiness!

I personally don’t like to use eye cream because most of them give me milia seeds. For some reasons I don’t get milia seeds if I use my normal facial products on the eye area. I haven’t use this for long but it seems light enough. I used this for a week and no milia seed yet.

The kit last me several days of use. When using only these products together my face feel very hydrated, moisturized, without the stickiness or heavy feeling.

Meder Beauty Science products are high quality and mostly available in spas. Their price will reflect that but they do last a long time! If you are undecided whether to spend money on full size product and I don’t blame you! One Day Trip (ODT) is a great place to start while figuring out which product you like before spending money on it. ODT cost only $9, a very good price for sample in my opinion, and if you’re not heavy hand it will last you for at least 1 week!

If you have any questions just contact Ela from Meder Beauty USA. She’s a wonderful lady with wealth of information. She sure can help you out!

Disclaimer: I was sent this ODT but opinions are my own.
