NJAAS contains Willow Bark Extract which contains natural salicylic acid-like properties so you can get the benefits of BHA without the irritation. It gentle exfoliates skin with less irritations and more soothing.

My skin is very finicky. It doesn’t like acid products especially acid toners. Therefore, I tend to go with acid serums, which loads with anti-inflammatory ingredients to combat the irritation associated with acids.

NJAAS Serum contains 5% lactic acid.  Lactic acid belongs to the AHA (Alpha hydroxy acid) group.  It’s more gentle, hydrating, and will gentle exfoliate the surface of skin.  It helps brightening and even skin tone.

NJAAS has an aloe vera and Turmeric hydrosol based.  It also contains many soothing ingredients such as Chamomile, Cucumber, Centella, Beta Glucan, Oat Protein, etc.

Studies have shown that the main constituents of Centella- Asiatic acid, madecassic acid, and asiaticoside- help increase collagen production and improve skin strength.

Licorice: soothing, anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory. Contains liquiritin and isoliquertine so it might help brighten the skin.

Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract:  astringent, skin lightening, antibacterial, antioxidant.

Panthenol: anti-inflammation, increases stratum corneum hydration and reduces TEWL.

Sodium lactate:  a great humectant, helps retain moisture

Arbutin: helps block epidermal melanin synthesis, skin lightener, evens skin tone on all skin types, helps minimizes liver spots, much safer than hydroquinone.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants even tone and smooth skin!

Texture/smell:

A light weight gel with natural scent.  No added fragrance or essential oils. The gel glides on and dry into a velvety smooth film.

How do you use it?

You can use this right after cleansing.  But the way I use it is after my hydration steps.  So Cleansing, Moisture Replenishing Essence, Essential Hydration Serum, NJAAS, Clarifying Glow Serum, 3 drops of Tranquil Face Oil. No wait time  in between steps.

My Results:

Resilient skin can start out slow and work up to daily usage.  I don’t think it’s necessary to use daily so I only use this serum twice a week at night and my skin has been congestion free and my skin is more bright and even tone!
